So life sometimes gives us lemons......and if we don't like lemonade, what can we do? Just go with the flow, and by all means don't panic.
I made all these wonderful goals for the New Year and the very first day life interrupted. My great plans of painting daily, spending time on social media when having coffee in the morning.....etc, etc....just flew out the window when I got a call from my daughter in law. Two of her beautiful little girls were down with a horrible stomach flu, and so was she. Grams and I were called in to take her place, and due to the New Year Holiday, we were headed to the Hospital. We had Grandma gear all ready, coloring books, coloering pencils, sunglasses and beads for Dylan, extra this and that and lots of hugs and reassuring words. Palms West Childrens emergency staff was wonderful! Tests, meds and more hugs, Dylan was cleared to go home. Piper was a little bit more dehydrated and had to stay overnight
I never gave the goals or anything else a thought, just went to help. Does that make me a failure of goal keeping? NOT AT ALL. I always have tomorrow to start or I could do some tonight. I had enrolled in a 30 day painting challange, so luckely I had painted this weekend, and used what I had painted. As Leslie Saeta says this challenge is in place for us all to get painting. I could paint 6 paintings in one day and still be okay. NOTHING is written in stone, but FAMILY comes first on all accounts.
This is the one I did this weekend. It is created with alcohol Inks, which I am in love with.
Here is todays painting. Little Flower. For the 30 day painting challange. I used the wax paper again and it turned out just the way I thought in my mind. Yay!!!! Mind and creativeness working together.
A note about my little grand girls, all are well, and eating and drinking and being normal healthy little ones. Mommy is doing better as well, hopefully tomorrow she will be at 100%. This is part of the interuptions of life. I am now back on track with all Monday things done on Tuesday as well as all Tuesdays things. And a new start
These are two of the angels, Piper on the top, and Emma on the left. They were well enough to come and paint with me. Butterflies, flowere and just lots of paint. They were very creative little ones. We are planning another painting date with cousins Gianni and Nico. I have no picture, but just imagine Lilly the dogs excitement....she had blue paint all over her white tail....I guess she wanted to paint too.
I am back on track with goals thi week. Hope you are too. Just remember that paintbrush in your hand is never as important asyour family!
See you next week...xxx ooo
