The World of Silly Selma

This is the cover of my Sketchbook Project of Silly Selma. It started with a theme of Lines & Borders. In the following pictures you can see how the first page started with one line that made a border throughout the entire book. The first few pages I started a a design, which looked like a person, so I named this fabulous person, Silly Selma, the story just followed. More info on Silly Selma on her page.
(this is the 5th of 6 I have created).
Enjoy mine and many more creative sketchbooks and even join and make your own.

This is the very first Silly Selma. She was created from my imaginative Bobbindoodle drawings. She was in the sketchbook..called Lines and Borders. As I started the patterns I began to see a person, and then It began...Silly Selma.

Silly Selma has morphed into this Character!
As Selma has morphed so has her story. My original story has become more than one story line....Soooo.....I have decided to make her first book more of a Introduction to this character. She is quite a character if I say so myself. This first story I am thinking will be called : My name is Selma
Selma Viola,
To be Exact!
Many revisions are necessary to make this as perfect as a Silly Selma author & illustrator can do.
There are more stories to come........... "In the Middle", "How Silly Selma got her Umbrella Headband", "Silly Selma and the SNOT Takeover"

This is the one of the designs for the book, " WHY IS SILLY SELMA, SILLY?" I am looking for a Agent of Picture Books OR a Publisher of Picture Books. It is so easy for me to use a paint brush and paint to make corrections, not so much on the computer. I am taking some photoshop classes so Silly Selma will look the same in all the books. Also taking a class in Storyteller Academy with Arree Chung. It is so exciting and also challenging and rewarding.
Either way, photoshop or hand painted I am working very hard to get her in the hands of lots of children, of all ages.
If you are interested in buying a copy when published, please leave your name an email on contact form. Thank You.

As you can see all Silly Selma words are incorporated into all the illustrations.
I enjoy the process of writing and illustrating all of her fun antics. These are the next titles I am workin on.
"In The Middle"
"THe Snot Takeover"
"How Silly Selma got her Umbrella Headband"

Here is Silly Selma's annual Christmas Coloring Book Volume #3 for 2017.
Each one is printed on card stock with black ink. There are two covers, this one which I colored and one that any little one would like to color. There are 15 pages with a cute story about how Silly Selma wants to change all colors to RED & Green. It also has some interactive pages for little ones to express their colors and even make their own Christmas wish.
Another year is almost ready for 2018 Christmas with Silly Selma! Wonder what she has in store for us.
